People make millions of dollars in the stock market. The idea is that you can invest money in a share of stock or stocks in a company of your choosing. Keep your stock long enough for the company to grow and then sell your stock at a huge profit. In a perfect world and with lots of money to spare, this would be a nice way to get rich. But the world is not perfect and the average family doesn’t have lots of extra money to spare. So how about investing in penny stocks?

Day trading, as the name says, means trading-buying and selling-the stocks on the same trading day. The trading positions, generally though not always, are closed before the market closes for the trading day. Day trading is not like after- hours trading where the trading activity continues even after the regular selling hours when the stock market closes.

Investing in energy stocks has become a popular theme of late. This is largely due to the rise in global oil demand and resulting higher price of oil. This higher cost of energy has lead to innovation and exploration into alternative energy solutions. Hence, there are more investment opportunities. The energy investment universe can be divided into three segments. This would include the exploration and production, or E&P, companies, oil stocks, and the renewable or alternative energy companies.
